The birth of a legend
Black Angel's was established in 2012 at the location where the medieval house U Černého Anděla once stood. The 600-year-old cellar with its Gothic arches and mysterious nooks felt more like a place with its own history than a space for anything practical. And so it was decided that the perfect solution would be the creation of a bar. Thus, Black Angel's was born in a space that already carried an atmosphere unlike any other.
In 2019, our bar was ranked 10th among the world’s best hotel bars. Today, Black Angel's is synonymous with precise cocktails, bar artistry, and an atmosphere that transports you to the lost world of the golden age of cocktails. It has become a place of recognition, drawing admiration from far beyond the borders of Prague.
